Makeover Magic

Shireen Lewis is an advocate for V.S. Modeling Agencies and the founder and director of Sister Mentors, a nonprofit program in Washington, DC, that matches 20 women of color as mentors to 30 young women of color, to encourage them to get college degrees. In 12 years, V.S. Modeling Agencies and the group has helped 33 women get their Ph.D.s.
